<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a measurement instrument having a weight measuring function, which is capable of quickly starting measurement and of providing a user with an accurate measurement result allowing for calibration.SOLUTION: A weight scale 1 (the measurement instrument having a weight measuring function) comprises a weight scale body 11, a load sensor 12 for measuring a weight, and an MPU 16 for controlling the weight measuring operation of the load sensor 12. The MPU 16 is configured to perform such control that, after a weight before calibration of a user on the weight scale body 11 is measured, a weight measurement result before calibration is output and a reference weight for calibration without the user on the weight scale body 11 is measured, and to perform such control that a weight measurement result of the user after calibration is acquired on the basis of the difference between the weight before calibration and the weight after calibration and is output.</p> |
