<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a velocity sensor using Coriolis force which can achieve downsizing, weight saving and higher reliability by making a rolling mechanism unnecessary.SOLUTION: The velocity sensor 10 includes: a detection arm part 11 having a piezoelectric effect; at least a pair of vibration arm parts 12, 13 which are extended from the detection arm part 11 in opposite directions and have a piezoelectric effect; excitation electrodes 21a, 21b applying an AC voltage to the vibration arm parts 12, 13 so that the vibration arm parts 12, 13 perform bending vibration in the same direction and the same phase; and detection electrodes 31a, 31b for outputting a voltage generated from the detection arm part 11 due to Coriolis force based on a speed of the vibration arm parts 12, 13 due to the bending vibration and a speed of a moving body.</p> |
