<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spinning machine that can prevent a failure with cotton fly.SOLUTION: A spinning machine 1 comprises a unit side communicating unit 60 each provided in a plurality of spinning units 2, a carriage side communicating unit 30 provided in a yarn picking carriage 3 and communicating with the unit side communicating unit 60 in a non-contact manner, and a cleaning unit cleaning the carriage side communicating unit 30. The cleaning unit cleans the carriage side communicating unit 30 during a period after the yarn picking carriage 3 passes through the spinning unit 2 preceding by a predetermined number a target spinning unit 2 to be operated and before the communication between the unit side communicating unit 60 and the carriage side communicating unit 30 is started at the target spinning unit 2.</p> |
