PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agent, a drink and food, and a cosmetic having anti-obesity effects, using elastin-derived peptides.SOLUTION: An anti-obesity agent, an anti-obesity food and drink, and an anti-obesity cosmetic are characterized by comprising elastin-derived peptides. As elastin-derived peptides, those elastin-derived peptides can be preferably used which are obtained by shredding meat containing elastin for alkalinolysis, recovering insoluble matters by filtration, and degrading elastin by adding thermolysin and papain to the insoluble matters. Further, as meat containing elastin, bulbus arteriosus of fish can be preferably used. |
