ENDOSCOPE LENS UNIT AND ENDOSCOPE INCLUDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an endoscope lens unit including a smaller diameter lens which satisfactorily ensures the accuracy of the optical system while preventing the lens from getting damages when assembling the lens in a lens frame.SOLUTION: An endoscope lens unit 31 which is disposed in an insertion section 3 of an endoscope 1 includes: plural lenses L1-L4 each having an identical diameter; and a cylindrical lens frame 34 that stores the plural lens by supporting the outer peripheral edge thereof. At least one of the plural lenses is a plano-concave lens L1 which has a plane surface at one side and a concave surface at the other side and is inserted in the lens frame with the plane side facing inward. The outer peripheral edge is chamferred at the plane side of the plano-concave lens L1.
