<p>Provided is a manufacturing method capable of manufacturing a honeycomb structure which uses a TiO2/V2O5/WO3 catalyst, and which has excellent NOX conversion efficiency and thermal durability. This manufacturing method is of a honeycomb structure which is provided with a honeycomb unit in a shape in which multiple cells are partitioned by cell walls, said cells containing at least titanium oxide, vanadium oxide, tungsten oxide and an inorganic binder and extending in the longitudinal direction from one end surface to the other end surface; this manufacturing method is characterized by involving a mixing step for mixing titanium oxide, a vanadium raw material, a tungsten raw material, and an inorganic binder, a molding step for molding the aforementioned mixed material to obtain a honeycomb molded body, and a firing step for firing the honeycomb molded body, wherein in the mixing step, vanadium raw material is a solution comprising ammonium metavanadate dissolved in advance in an alkaline solution.</p> |
