PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a taking-up core and a taking-up method for a conveyer belt which allow a stable and smooth taking-up operation in taking up a conveyer belt in such a way that both ends in the longitudinal direction of the conveyer belt are located on the outer peripheral side.SOLUTION: A taking-up core 1 includes two core materials 2 and 3 arranged at an interval, a connection member 4A connecting together axial direction ends adjacent to the core materials 2 and 3 while keeping the relative positional relationship between the core materials 2 and 3 in an invariable state and a shaft hole 5A formed between the two core materials 2 and 3 of the connection member 4A. By using the taking-up core 1, the central part CB1 in the longitudinal direction of a conveyer belt CB is laid on only one of the two core materials 2 and 3, and the taking-up core 1 is rotated around a shaft SH inserted into the shaft hole 5A so as to take up the conveyer belt around the outer periphery of the taking-up core 1 in such a state that one end side CB2 and the other end side CB3 of the conveyer belt CB extending from one core material 2, with respect to the central part CB1 in the longitudinal direction, are laminated. |
