PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry silica fine particle having such excellent dispersion characteristics that the particle is more easily dispersed to a fineness of a primary particle size than existing same-sized dry silica particles although the specific surface area falls into a range of 20-60 m/g, and capable of obtaining a low viscosity in a resin composition charged into an epoxy resin, so that the dry silica fine particle is useful as a resin filler for the resin or as a dry silica fine particle for toner.SOLUTION: There is provided a dry silica fine particle obtained by burning a silicon compound such as siloxane, and having a BET specific surface area of 20-60 m/g, wherein 100×D/Dis 100-110 where Dis a median size of a weight-based particle size distribution of the dry silica fine particle measured by a centrifugal sedimentation method, and Dis a median size of a volume-based particle size distribution of the dry silica fine particle measured by an ultra-small angle X-ray scattering method. |
