PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telescopic cover device for a machine tool capable of achieving sliding between partial covers which have small gap even there is variation or a curve due to typical dimensional tolerance of the partial covers.SOLUTION: Adjacent partial covers are disposed so as to partially lap with each other any time and the lap part of each partial cover extends and shrinks toward its reciprocation direction following to vertical movement of a main axial head. A lower end edge of the partial cover is formed so as to expand downwardly at its central part, and by contacting the lower end edge to a sliding surface of an adjacent partial cover, sliding between the partial covers having a small gap can be achieved. |
