摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and system for lateral lane positioning control over a vehicle.SOLUTION: An arithmetic unit 111 can be configured to identify a body on a road nearby a vehicle. The arithmetic unit 111 can be configured to estimate a time in which the vehicle comes closer to by the body on the basis of one or more characteristics of the vehicle and one or more characteristics of the body. The arithmetic unit 111 can be configured to estimate one or more positions of the vehicle present in a length direction of the road for the time on the basis of the characteristics of the vehicle. The arithmetic unit 111 can be configured to determines a lateral distance of the vehicle which should be kept with the body at the positions of the vehicle in the length direction for the time on the basis of the respective characteristics of the body and to send an instruction to control the vehicle on the basis of the lateral distance.</p>
