PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a wire harness which can melt a melting member in a shorter time.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a wire harness 100 provided with an electric wire 11 and a female side housing 10 made of a resin and accommodating the end of the electric wire 11 includes: an arrangement step of arranging a body member 2 and a welding member 3 both composing the female side housing 10 so that they face each other along the axial direction of the electric wire 11; and an ultrasonic excitation step of exciting the body member 2 and the welding member 3 while pressing them with an ultrasonic horn 81. The arrangement step is a step where a plurality of melting particles 300 made of a resin having a thermofusion property are arranged between facing surfaces of the body member 2 and the welding member 3, and the body member 2 and the welding member 3 are made to face each other. The ultrasonic excitation step is a step where a molten resin obtained by melting the plurality of melting particles 300 is poured between the body member 2 and the welding member 3 and between the electric wire 11 and at least one of the body member 2 and the welding member 3.
