NOVEL GENE AND PROTEIN OF BRACHYSPIRA HYODYSENTERIAE AND USE THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel gene derived from B. hyodysenteriae and a protein coded by the gene, and to provide use of the gene and the protein coded by the gene for treatment and diagnosis of swine dysentery.SOLUTION: Provided are a novel gene of Brachyspira hyodysenteriae that is pathogenic bacteria of swine dysentery, a protein coded by the gene, use of the gene and the protein coded by the gene for diagnosis of B. hyodysenteriae-related diseases or vaccine against B. hyodysenteriae, and for screening of chemical compounds that sterilize B. hyodysenteriae or inhibit pathogenic effect of B. hyodysenteriae.
