<p>The present invention addresses the problem of providing a paper manufacturing method whereby paper having a high size degree and a high ash retention can be obtained while preventing staining of a machine. The paper manufacturing method according to the present invention is characterized by comprising adding to a pulp slurry, a sizing agent selected from an alkyl ketene dimer-type sizing agent and a rosin-type sizing agent, a copolymer of diallylamine with (meth)acrylamide, a water-soluble aluminum compound, and at least one kind of anionic retention aid. Preferably, this method is characterized by comprising using two or more kinds of retention aids including a cationic retention aid and an anionic retention aid.</p> |
