SOUND WAVE SENSOR, CORRECTION VALUE SETUP DEVICE, AND DISTANCE DETECTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable correction of a sensor characteristics while further simplifying the configuration of a sound wave sensor used for detecting a distance to a target by transmitting and receiving a sound wave.SOLUTION: In a distance detection system, a sound wave sensor performs: receiving, with pre-set sensitivity, a reflection wave obtained by a transmitted sound wave reflecting on a target and determining presence of the target and a distance thereto; externally obtaining a correction value used for correcting the sensitivity of the sound sensor and correcting the sensitivity using the correction value (S210, S220). Such the sound wave sensor externally obtains a correction value for correcting sensitivity, making it possible to simplify the configuration of the sound wave sensor in comparison with a sound wave sensor that corrects its sensitivity by self-transmitting and -receiving plural frequencies.
