<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a door chain device capable of automatically releasing locking by shaking due to an earthquake without depending on electric power, and capable of quickly releasing locking without having to return a door body to a fully-closed position if necessary.SOLUTION: A door chain device includes: a ball placing stand (2) fixed in a storage space (1b) inside a chain receiver body and having an angle top face; a seismoscopic ball (3) placed on one side end (2b) of the angle top face and overriding an apex (2a) of the angle top face to roll and drop from the other side end (2c) due to a shake transferred from the outside; and a door chain locking release mechanism (6, 24) dropping and removing a locking device (26) at the tip of a door chain from an engaging groove (34a) of a chain receiver by receiving the fall of the seismoscopic ball (3) to displace downward.</p> |
