PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new stem cell-based method for treating a number of disease states.SOLUTION: The present invention provides a new stem cell-based method for treating a number of disease states. The method uses CD34stem cells and has an extraordinary advantage in terms of requiring no bone marrow ablation in a subject being treated. Depending on the disorder to be treated, the CD34stem cell to be used in the present method is genetically modified or not.
