Provided is a wireless communication device whereby settings for wireless LAN base stations can be made in such a way as to improve the efficiency of frequency utilization throughout the entirety of a wireless communication system that includes different models of wireless LAN base stations from different makers. The wireless communication system makes settings necessary for operation of wireless LAN base stations constituting a wireless communication network, and is provided with: an information collection unit for collecting settings information relating to settings of the wireless LAN base stations and wireless environment information at the wireless LAN base stations; a parameter computation unit for calculating, on the basis of the collected settings information and wireless environment information, parameters to be set for the wireless LAN base stations for which the information was collected; and a parameter setting unit for transmitting the calculated parameters over the network to the wireless LAN base stations for which the information was collected, and making parameter settings.
