摘要 The present invention relates to a method for preparing high strength spinel-type lithium manganese oxides, high strength spinel-type lithium manganese oxides prepared thereby, and a lithium secondary battery including the same. The method for preparing high strength spinel-type lithium manganese oxides according to the present invention produces particles of manganese oxide by spay drying followed by mixing lithium compounds and treating the mixture by heat to discharge carbon dioxide contained in the lithium compounds only on the surface of the particles thereby reducing a gap inside the particles, not only increasing a cohesion between the manganese oxides while the lithium compounds spread among primary particles of the manganese oxide but also enhancing the total intensity of the particles.
