摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that when a printing medium coated with a pressure sensitive adhesive is delivered from a storage part and its leading edge is conveyed to a printing part, the pressure sensitive adhesive adheres to a paper conveyance path. SOLUTION: The thermal printer 10 includes: a housing that has a storage part for thermal paper 11, a storage part for the printing medium 12 coated with the pressure sensitive adhesive and an ejection port; a paper feeding part 19 that has a paper feeding path 17 and a paper feeding path 18; a joining part 20 that feeds the thermal paper or the printing medium from the joining position of the paper feeding path 17 and the paper feeding path 18 to a downstream side in a paper conveying direction; a conveying mechanism 21 that conveys the thermal paper in the paper conveying direction from the joining part 20 to the ejection port and conveys it in a reverse direction thereto; the printing part 22 that performs printing on the thermal paper 11 and the printing medium 12 respectively; and the paper conveyance path 24 that is provided between the printing part 22 and the joining part 20 and is common between the thermal paper 11 and the printing medium 12, wherein adhesive amount reduction processing is performed to the paper conveyance path 24 and the paper feeding path 18 of the paper feeding part.
