摘要 The present invention relates to a surface treatment method for magnesium or a magnesium alloy which includes a step of allowing the magnesium or magnesium alloy to be subjected to heat treatment in a humidified atmosphere to form a thin film containing brucite crystals or mixed crystals where the brucite and hydromagnesite are mixed on the surface of the magnesium or magnesium alloy, wherein the heat treatment is conducted at a temperature of 75 to 160°C, and the humidified atmosphere is in a range of 85 to 100 RH% at 100°C or lower and in a range of 50 to 100 RH% at 100°C or greater.
