Provided is a sheet processing apparatus according to the present invention including loading trays with a matching member to perform a matching process of sheets. The sheet processing apparatus determines whether the width of a sheet to be discharged is equal to that of a sheet loaded in advance if the sheet is loaded in advance on a first loading tray determined as a discharge member of the sheet to be discharged, when the sheet is discharged. If the width of the sheet is not equal, the discharge member of the sheet to be discharged is changed to a second loading tray. |
