The present invention relates to an automatic welding machine for a fin tube that automatically welds plate-shaped radiating fins to the outer periphery of a hollow tube continuously. According to the present invention, the automatic welding machine for a fin tube includes: a welding part having a fin holder guiding plate-shaped fins horizontally, a fin clamp disposed on the center of the fin holder to elastically support both surfaces of each fin in a standing state, a photosensor detecting the fin clamping state of the fin clamp in a non-contact way, a welding head having a vertical actuator connected to the fin holder and the fin clamp to locate the fin at the outer periphery of the hollow tube so as to conduct electric resistance welding, and a limit switch detecting the elevation of the welding head in a contact way; a tube supplying part having a moving clamp and a fixing clamp clamping the hollow tube, limit switches detecting the hollow tube clamping states from the moving clamp and the fixing clamp in a contact way, a linear guide guiding the moving clamp in a lengthwise direction, and tube feeding means conveying the moving clamp to the welding part; a fin supplying part having a horizontal actuator to supply the fins from a fin cartridge wherein the fins are mounted to the fin holder through linear reciprocation and a limit switch detecting the forward and reverse strokes of the horizontal actuator in a contact way; a fin tube discharging part horizontally guiding the fin tube welded and discharged from the welding part; and a controller controlling the welding part, the tube supplying part, and the fin supplying part in accordance with the electric signals detected from the photosensor and the limit switches. |
