PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polyarylene sulfide-based composition useful for electric part applications such as electric/electronic parts, automobile electric parts, and the like, having excellent electrical properties especially such as tracking resistance and the like, excellent toughness, and excellent mechanical strength, melt flow, mold releasability, mold stain resistance, and appearance of formed parts.SOLUTION: Provided is a polyarylene sulfide-based composition comprising, relative to 100 pts.mass of polyarylene sulfide (A), 3 to 35 pts.mass of an ethylene-vinyl alcohol-based copolymer comprising at least an ethylene-fatty acid vinyl ester-vinyl alcohol copolymer and/or an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (B); 3 to 35 pts.mass of at least one polyethylene-based copolymer selected from the group consisting of a maleic acid graft-modified ethylene-α-olefin copolymer (C1), an ethylene-α,&bgr;-unsaturated carboxylic acid alkyl ester-maleic anhydride copolymer (C2), an ethylene-α,&bgr;-unsaturated carboxylic acid glycidyl ester copolymer (C3), an ethylene-α,&bgr;-unsaturated carboxylic acid glycidyl ester-vinyl acetate copolymer (C4), and an ethylene-α,&bgr;-unsaturated carboxylic acid glycidyl ester-α,&bgr;-unsaturated carboxylic acid alkyl ester copolymer (C5); 50 to 200 pts.mass of magnesium hydroxide (D); and 50 to 150 pts.mass of fibrous filler. |
