PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-emitting device capable of enhancing light-emitting efficiency due to current spreading.SOLUTION: A light-emitting device includes: a nano structure 19; a first semiconductor layer 25 arranged on the nano structure 19; an active layer 27 arranged on the first semiconductor layer 25; and a second conductivity type semiconductor layer 29 arranged on the active layer 27. The nano structure 19 includes: a graphene layer 13 which is arranged under the first semiconductor layer 25 and is in contact with the first semiconductor layer 25; and a large number of nano textures 16 which extend in a direction of the first semiconductor from the upper face of the graphene layer 13 and are in contact with the first semiconductor layer 25.
