<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electroluminescence element in which angular dependence and wavelength dependence of emission intensity distribution can be reduced while reducing plasmon loss, and to provide a luminaire using the electroluminescence element.SOLUTION: An electroluminescence element 1A comprises: a transparent electrode layer 11 composing a first transparent electrode; a first transparent thin film metal layer 13 composing a second transparent electrode; an electroluminescent layer 12 sandwiched between the transparent electrode layer 11 and the first transparent thin film metal layer 13; a first transparent dielectric layer 14 provided on the first transparent thin film metal layer 13 on the reverse side of the electroluminescent layer 12; a second transparent thin film metal layer 15 provided on the first transparent dielectric layer 14 on the reverse side of the first transparent thin film metal layer 13; a second transparent dielectric layer 16 provided on the second transparent thin film metal layer 15 on the reverse side of the first transparent dielectric layer 14; and a light reflection layer 30 provided on the second transparent dielectric layer 16 on the reverse side of the second transparent thin film metal layer 15.</p> |
