PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing electrolytic copper, even after electrolysis over a long period, in which the defect in the peeling of electrolytic copper from the surface of a cathode electrode plate is hard to occur.SOLUTION: Regarding the method for producing electrolytic copper in which a cathode electrode plate 2 and an anode electrode plate 1 made of crude copper are immersed into an electrolytic tank 10 storing an electrolytic solution 5, and electrodeposited copper is deposited on the cathode electrode 2 by electrolysis, at least a part of the electrolytic solution 5 is sampled from the electrolytic tank 10 and is passed through a column 11 composed by the filling of a chelate resin, the electrolytic tank 10 is fed with a rear solution in which the respective ions of Sb and Bi produced by the electrolysis reaction are adsorbed on the chelate resin so as to be removed, then electrolysis is performed, also, upon the cleaning of the column 11, the feed of the electrolytic solution 5 from the electrolytic tank 10 is stopped, the Sb and Bi adsorbed on the chelate resin are eluted, and thereafter, moisture in the column 11 is removed. |
