PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of accesses to a memory.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus includes a horizontal distortion correction unit 21a and a vertical distortion correction unit 22. The horizontal distortion correction unit 21a performs linear interpolation of image data of two input pixels, and forms image data of one output pixel. The vertical distortion correction unit 22 performs linear interpolation of image data of two input pixels, and forms image data of one output pixel. The vertical distortion correction unit 22 reads image data in a burst size from a memory 42 on the basis of a vertical correction range value formed on the basis of lattice blocks coordinates, and stores the image data into an internal buffer. After the storage in the internal buffer, two lines are selected from a plurality of lines of the image data. The image data of a coordinate value (an output horizontal coordinate value) included in the selected two lines and corresponding to the pixel to be outputted after interpolation, performs linear interpolation according to the interpolation coefficients, thereby forming processed image data. |
