PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data processing device, a printer, and a POS system which are capable of analyzing data that is output by a POS terminal and providing it to an external device without modifying the POS terminal.SOLUTION: A data processing module includes: a print data reception unit 21 that receives print data which is transmitted from a POS terminal 1; an image data acquisition unit 22 that obtains image data which is included in the print data received by the data reception unit 21; a data analysis unit 24 that extracts text information which is included in the image data received by the image data acquisition unit 22; a data conversion unit 25 that converts the text information which is extracted by the data analysis unit 24, into analysis data in a markup language; and a data transmission unit 28 that transmits the analysis data in the markup language, which is obtained through conversion by the data conversion unit 25, to a POS management server 4. |
