The present invention relates to: an extract obtained by a supercritical extraction method using Dryopteris crassirhizoma; a quinoline based compound separated from the extract; and a skin external application composition and a cosmetic composition containing the same. Specifically, the present invention relates to a skin external application composition which solves problems including the skin safety and irritation using the quinoline based compound derived from the supercritical extract of Dryopteris crassirhizoma instead of conventional chemical preservatives like parabens, and has excellent preserving power compare to the conventional chemical preservatives. |
