<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a submerged bank capable of maintaining its function even when it receives tsunami stream.SOLUTION: A frame 14 includes: a plurality of water stream penetrable planar members 20 which are disposed opposite to each other; a plurality of wall bodies 22 which are substantially orthogonal to a horizontal direction in which the water stream penetrable planar members 20 extend; moreover, a water stream penetrable cover member 24 in its upper part; a water stream penetrable bottom member 26 in its bottom; and a space 28 of which lateral side, upper side, and lower side are covered by the members 20, 22, 24, 26. The frame 14 is arranged on a rubble mound 12 so that a horizontal direction in which the water stream penetrable planar member 20 extends is substantially orthogonal to a direction in which assumed tsunami stream advances. Inside filling stones 16 are filled in the space 28 so as not to pass through the water stream penetrable planar member 20 and the water stream penetrable cover member 24. Meanwhile, among portions of the frame 14, a portion embedded in the rubble mound 12 is not in contact with a sea bottom and stays in the rubble mound 12.</p> |
