PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laundry treatment apparatus which enables a lid to stably operate without shaking, by uniformly dispersing braking force reducing the rotational speed of the lid.SOLUTION: A laundry treatment apparatus includes: a body in which a hole for putting in and taking out cloth is formed; a lid which opens and closes the hole for putting in and taking out cloth; and at least one hinge part which rotatably supports the lid with respect to the body. The hinge part includes: a hinge housing which is filled with a fluid having a prescribed viscosity; an elastic member arranged in the hinge housing; and a pair of cams on which a contact surface having a height difference along a circumferential direction is formed. When one of the pair of cams rotates interlockingly with the lid, the contact surface of the one of the pair of cams slides along the contact surface of the other of the pair of the cams, and a distance between the pair of the cams can be varied, so that the elastic member is deformed. The contact surface in at least one of the pair of cams is formed in each of at least three sections demarcated at prescribed rotation angles along the circumferential direction. |
