摘要 The invention relates to the branches of engineering, shipbuilding, construction and maintenance of oil and gas platforms, construction of artificial islands and runways, which are based on water, namely to surface finishing metal products and welded joints, which are subject to significant alternating load. In a method of ultrasonic impact treatment of surfaces of parts and welded joints, in which the treatment is carried out using an ultrasonic vibrating tool, mobile impact elements that are normed pressed against the surface to be treated, the tool is moved relative to the surface being treated and desired intensity of vibrations of impact elements is provided by an ultrasonic transformer of vibrational velocity, with the outlet end of which the impact elements contact, the impact treatment is carried out by immersing the ultrasonic vibrating tool in water at the depth of location of the machining area, and ultrasonic vibrations of the outlet end of ultrasonic transformer of vibrational velocity are excited with an intensity exceeding the threshold of occurrence of developed cavitation on this surface and in the location area of moving impact elements at a given depth of immersion. The disclosed method of ultrasonic impact treatment of surfaces of parts and welded joints provides for high efficiency and quality of impact treatment of metal structures located under water.
