PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay device and a communication system, enabling intercommunication by a plurality of types of radio equipment sets having different communication methods.SOLUTION: The relay device includes a radio equipment interface, a signal processing unit connected to the radio equipment interface, a network interface and a packet processing unit connected to the network interface. With the provision of a plurality of communication systems each including the radio equipment interface, the signal processing unit and the packet processing unit, each communication system includes a mixing unit for inputting to the packet processing unit an upward voice signal added and composed with the upward voice signal and the downward voice signal of another communication system, and for inputting to the signal processing unit a downward voice signal added and composed with the upward voice signal and the downward voice signal of another communication system. |
