The present invention relates to a method for providing educational content based on a terminal, and a computer-readable recording medium for storing an educational content providing program based on the terminal. The present invention includes: a first step of generating sensing information representing information of an education tag card according to the sensing based on a card reader unit for the education tag card provided in a short-distance communications region by a learning application; a second step of extracting education content matched with the sensing information from a storage unit having multiple education content by the learning application; and a third step of outputting video data contained in the extracted education content through a touch screen and outputting voice data contained in the extracted education content through a voice output unit if the learning application extracts the education content matched with the sensing information.
