PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phospholipase D which can act on a cholinergic plasmalogen, and can act on a lysophosphatidylcholine to inexpensively produce a lysophosphatidic acid, and a polynucleotide, which are obtained from a microorganism easily handled, and to provide a production method of the phospholipase D.SOLUTION: A phospholipase D which exerts an action in which a cholinergic plasmalogen and a tertiary phosphoric ester of a lysophospholipid are hydrolyzed to liberate a choline, includes either one of polypeptides described in (a) to (c): (a) a polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence consisting of a specific sequence; (b) a polypeptide containing an amino acid sequence in which one or a plurality of amino acids are substituted, inserted, deleted and/or added in the amino acid sequence consisting of the specific sequence, and having hydrolytic activity; and (c) a polypeptide containing at least 90% of homology with the amino acid sequence consisting of the specific sequence, and having hydrolytic activity. |
