PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber tape core wire capable of facilitating the removal of a tape material after single core separation.SOLUTION: The optical fiber tape core wire includes: a plurality of optical fiber core wires arranged in parallel and separately from each other; and a tape material having a coating part for covering the outer peripheries of the plurality of optical fiber core wires and a connection part that is formed integrally with the coating part and intermittently interconnects adjacent optical fiber core wires. The thickness of the connection part is greater than that of the coating part.
