PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle rear part structure which enables a spare tire to be more easily caught by using brackets upon a rear collision.SOLUTION: A spare tire catcher 28 is arranged between a rear seat 14 and a spare tire 20. The spare tire catcher 28 includes a first bracket 30 and a second bracket 32. The second bracket 32 is arranged below the first bracket 30 in the vehicle vertical direction and is arranged further frontward in the vehicle longitudinal direction than a rear cross member 22. In addition, the first bracket 30 is fixed to the rear cross member 22, and the second bracket 32 is fixed to a vehicle floor 12. As a result, when the spare tire is moved to interfere with the first bracket upon a rear face collision, a distance between the upper side of the first bracket in the vehicle vertical direction and the vehicle floor becomes shorter than when the second bracket is not provided. |
