PURPOSE: A fuel pulse sound damping device of an engine in a vehicle is provided to reduce fuel pulse sound within a fuel rail by installing a damper unit absorbing the impulse wave of the high pressure within the fuel rail. CONSTITUTION: A fuel pulse sound damping device of an engine in a vehicle comprises an outer housing(52), an inner housing(53), a first spring(57) and a damping unit. A through-hole is formed in an axial direction at the inner center of the outer housing. The inner housing is installed inside the outer housing. A through-hole is formed in an axial direction at the inner center of the inner housing. The first spring is inserted behind the inner housing. The first spring damps the frontward and backward movement of the inner housing within the outer housing. The damping unit reciprocates the inner housing within the outer housing. The damping unit attenuates the pulsating impact pressure delivered from the fuel rail. |
