PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus which suppresses generation of color shift.SOLUTION: An image forming apparatus comprises: an image holder for holding a toner image; an image forming part for sequentially forming plural single color toner images on the image holder using toner of plural single colors different from each other, overlapping pixels corresponding to the plural single color toner images with each other to make a pixel over the plural single color toner images, and thereby causing the image holder to hold a plural color toner image formed by toner of the plural single colors thereon; a transfer part for transferring the plural color toner image held on the image holder to a sheet; and a fixing part for fixing the plural color toner image transferred on the sheet by the transfer part on the sheet. The image forming part forms on the image holder single color toner images whose single color toner arrangement areas are adjusted within a pixel over the plural single color toner images and corresponding to each of the plural single color toner images, which is divided into a plurality of areas, so that different single color toner is arranged in an area different from each other within the pixel. |
