PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which suppresses that a shape of a light guide plate is complicated, suppresses that the width of a frame is enlarged and, at the same time, can suppress that a brightness irregularity is produced on a display part even when the number of light sources is reduced.SOLUTION: A TV 100 (display device) includes: a TV main body 100a; a display part 11 arranged on the front side of the TV main body 100a; an LED 42 which supplies light to the display part 11; a first light guide plate 5 having a first light incident surface 51 which is arranged so as to be opposed to the LED 42 and comprises a lateral surface for making light emitted from the LED 42 incident thereto and a first light emission surface 52 which is disposed on the lateral surface of the side opposite to the first light incident surface 51 and emits light from the first light incident surface 51; a second light guide plate 7 which is arranged so as to be superimposed with a first light guide plate 5 and guides light emitted from the first light emission surface 52 of the first light guide plate 5 to the display part 11; and a reflection sheet 6b arranged between the first light guide plate 5 and the second light guide plate 7. |
