A light source is suggested which contains a variety of luminous elements and a control system intended to control these luminous elements. The control system contains a variety of luminous element controllers, and each controller is connected to the respective luminous element so that it can receive data of this luminous element, and a bus interface which is connected to luminous element controllers by the light source bus.
