The present invention relates to a device for sorting raw materials and a sorting method thereof. As a device that sorts main materials from impurities, the method comprises: a step of preparing raw materials; a step of moving the raw materials to a charging device and electrically charging the raw materials; and a step of sorting the charged raw materials by making the charged raw materials fall between electrode plates with a rotary sheet rotating around an electrode. In the sorting process, the charged raw materials are sorted by being attached to a surface of the rotary sheet with a polarity opposite to the charged raw materials, thereby enabling impurities like coal ash, sulfur, and the like to be effectively sorted from the raw materials. |
