The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus to provide, set, maintain, and release the connectivity of a packet data network (PDN) base on a local area in a wireless communication system. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a method to set the connectivity of a PDN by UE in a wireless communication system comprises the steps of: receiving local area PDN subscription information from a service provider server; checking whether the current location information of the UE exists in the local area PDN subscription information; and starting a local area PDN setting procedure when the current location information exists.
