The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for providing a mobile internet call service. In the case where a terminal is turned on or a call is initially made using a main call number so as to reduce a call waiting time during an mVoIP call, information for call connection is acquired in advance and a light weight session is maintained. With respect to a subsequent mVoIP, the maintained light weight session is used to directly enter a P2P call, thereby reducing a call connection time. Since a call waiting time is remarkably reduced when trying to send an mVoIP, a response becomes fast and user satisfaction can be improved. Furthermore, since the P2P call is not connected to a separate server system as long as the light weight session is maintained, the P2P call can be connected even during telephone congestion. |
