<p>The post has a cylindrical, cylindro-conical or conical body (1) that is insertable into a root canal. An adjustable head (3) is positioned at a proximal end i.e. upper end, of the body and adapted to receive a stub for receiving a dental crown. A foldable rod (2) extends from the proximal end of the body till the head of the post. The rod has diameter ranging between 0.1 and 0.9 times greater than diameter of the body. An upper end of the post comprises an annular flange (5) that forms a stop.</p> |
