The invention relates to a method for creating a junction between a main pipe having a cured rehabilitation liner and a lateral pipe, wherein said main pipe has a lateral pipe opening in fluid communication with said lateral pipe. The method is being used in conjunction with an installation of said liner on an inner surface of said main pipe, wherein the following steps are performed: inserting a first sealing device into said lateral pipe opening, said first sealing device blocking said lateral pipe opening and protruding with one end into said main pipe, installing and curing said liner on said inner surface of said main pipe covering said lateral pipe opening, thereby creating a bump between said liner and said main pipe at said lateral pipe opening, said bump defining a cavity between the liner and the inner surface of the main pipe -making a hole in said liner at said lateral pipe opening, -injecting a substance into said cavity to substantially fill said cavity; curing said substance; removing said sealing device from said lateral pipe opening after said substance has cured. |
