<p>The proposed invention relates to the field of producing and selling goods from the sewing, knitting and footwear industries and makes it possible to increase the quality and accuracy of carrying out the remote ordering of articles of clothing corresponding to the actual characteristics of a customer's body. The proposed method for providing for the remote fitting and/or selection of clothing comprises: developing and maintaining at least one web site; developing a database of articles of clothing, during the creation of, and/or addition to which database a three-dimensional model of an article of clothing is constructed using the morphing of a predetermined template for said article of clothing and of photographs of said article of clothing; providing for the interaction between a consumer and a web server by means of cross-platform client applications, during which a three-dimensional model of the consumer's body is constructed using the morphing of a previously defined three-dimensional template of a human body, and, in the presence of the necessary three-dimensional model of an article of clothing, an article of clothing is selected, corresponding to the constructed three-dimensional model of the consumer's body.</p> |
