A pumping unit for use in a device for pumping human breast milk has a breast cup (3) for placing on a breast and a dimensionally stable or approximately dimensionally stable milk collecting container (1, 2) to hold the pumped breast milk. The breast cup (3) has a first central longitudinal axis (a) and the milk collecting container (1, 2) has a second central longitudinal axis (b), wherein the milk collecting container (1, 2) can be separably mounted on the breast cup (3) and wherein the first central longitudinal axis (a) is arranged at an angle to the second central longitudinal axis (b) when the milk collecting container (1, 2) is mounted. The milk collecting container (1, 2) can be moved relative to the breast cup (3) when it is mounted, by means of which the angle between the first and the second central longitudinal axes (a, b) can be varied. The pumping unit according to the invention can be made so as be compact and space-saving, and is particularly suited for a hands-free arrangement. |
