PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten time required for discharging the tail end crop remainder, by operating a scrap kicker by a proper operation amount.SOLUTION: A steel sheet shearing device comprises the scrap kicker 5 for dropping a tail end crop on a shear lower blade 33 on a scrap conveyor by executing operation for pushing out to the downstream side in the steel sheet carrying direction after shearing. This steel sheet shearing device detects the maximum crop length in the steel sheet carrying direction of the tail end crop on the shear lower blade 33 by a crop detection sensor 8 and a detection circuit 10. A kicker operation amount control part 111 operates the scrap kicker 5 by an operation amount corresponding to the maximum crop length. |
