PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an exterior appearance inspection device that can generate a pseudo image corresponding to a part having linear light interrupted even when, for one example, an optical cutting method generates the part.SOLUTION: The exterior appearance inspection device according to an embodiment comprises: an imaging section that photographs a linear light image formed in an inspection object area of a linear inspection object surface by being lightened with sheet-like light from a direction crossing the sheet-like light; an image generation section that determines a luminance value at each point in accordance with a deviation from a reference line of the image of the light corresponding to a plurality of points in the inspection object area, and generates a two-dimensional pseudo image; and a display control section that controls a display section such that the pseudo image is displayed. The image generation section interpolates a luminance value of the point where the light image is not obtained from the luminance value of the plurality of points where the light image is obtained or the deviation therefrom, and determines the luminance value thereof. |
